Dr. Wojciech Lamik specializes in data protection, new technologies law, intellectual property (with a particular focus on copyright and trademarks), personal rights, and broadly understood e-commerce.

He gained his professional experience in a law firm specializing in new technologies law and in the security department of a large Polish bank. He participated in GDPR implementations and compliance audits for numerous data controllers, including entities from the banking sector. He has also provided legal advice to companies in the film and theater industries as well as the IT sector.

Dr. Lamik serves as Chair of the Commission for New Technologies and Digital Transformation at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wrocław and as Coordinator of the New Technologies in Justice Team at the Center for Research, Studies, and Legislation of the National Chamber of Legal Advisers.

He completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics at the University of Wrocław. A frequent speaker at academic conferences, he is the author of scientific publications, including the editor of the monograph “Implementation of the Digital Services Act in E-Commerce” (C.H. Beck, Warsaw 2024). He is also a co-author of the podcast “Law and New Technologies.”
